The Banquet


The Banquet was held at the Marriott Hotel....
Phil (Banquet Director) provided a thoughtful summary
on the group's long-term fellowship.

 



The Banquet Director made presentations to:

Joe - for Bringing us Together again and for Planning the Tournament,

Dick - for Being an all-round Nice Guy,

Jon - for Providing Fellowship & for His Extra Effort to Improve his Game,

Tom - for Providing a Good Example and for Performing the Difficult Duties as Tournament Director,

The Deacon - for Being the Deacon and for Improving his Game (w/ the Help of Dr. Dennis), and for Providing, once again, the Commemorative Golf Shirts,

Mike - for Being another all-round Nice Guy and for Providing the Golf Record Booklets,

and thanks to

Gary - for Lending his Steady Golf Scores in absentia so Mr. Statistic could Balance the 2007 Tournament Records.


Tournament Director (Tom - "Mr. Statistic") Announces the
Results of the 72-Hole Competition for 2007:

Skins Game Winner: Phil w/ 8

Skins Game Runner-Up: Mike w/ 7 (Most Winnings) &

Dick w/ 7 (2nd Place Winnings)

Low Gross Score: Tom (Also won in 2006)

Low Net Score: Mike

Low Net Score Runner-Up: Jon

Longest Drive: Hole 17 (Schoolmaster): Approx. ~320 yards: Mike
(Up, Over and Down Hill, with the Wind, and Excellent Placement)

Most Improved Game: A Tie - Jon and Deacon

Return of Hazelton Alabama Golf Trust Trophy Ceremony



Deacon, the 2006 Winner of the Hazelton Alabama Trust Trophy, hesitates to give the trophy back to the Director...for good reason.



Something is amiss with the trophy....

(Note: There was a slight pause in the proceedings while the Director chastised the Deacon for piracy and regained his composure.)

and for other achievements as recognized by the Director.



2007 Recipient


Restored to its original stature, the Hazelton Alabama Golf Trust Trophy now resides in a place of honor at Mr. Campbell's office in Houston, Texas until 2008:
